MEET JILL
Meet Jill Douglass, a conservative leader, businesswoman, and proud Nevadan running for Nevada State Assembly District 37. A military family daughter and wife, Jill moved to Nevada over 32 years ago and built a career in financial services, rising to Agency Vice President of a multi-state agency. A committed Christian, proud boy mom of four, and "Glamma" to eight, she has led numerous organizations and created community programs supporting law enforcement and veterans. Jill is running to deliver common-sense solutions: safer streets, school choice, lower taxes, attainable housing, and a government that works for the people. She is the change Assembly District 37 needs.

WHY I AM RUNNING
I'm running for State Assembly District 37 because I'm deeply concerned about the future of Nevada and the families, seniors, veterans and children who call it home. Our community deserves leaders who truly understand the everyday challenges we face: skyrocketing costs, taxation, underperforming schools, declining public safety, barriers to business, lack of government transparency, attainable housing and health care that has become out of reach for far too many families.
Career politicians have put special interest and politics over the people they were elected to serve for for too long. It's time to fight back

PEOPLE OVER POLITICS
Jill Douglass is not a career politician. She is a devoted mom, a businesswoman and a concerned citizen who believes it's time to restore the people's voice in government by putting People Over Politics. Her life has always been guided by service before self and unwavering integrity. As a successful businesswoman, Jill built a financial services agency from the ground up. She worked long days, took part time jobs to pay her bills and raise startup capital, and learned firsthand what it takes to sign paychecks and navigate government red tape. She went on to oversee hiring, training, and operations across Nevada, Arizona and Colorado, giving her real-world experience creating jobs and growing businesses. . She's ready to put her experience to work to create prosperity for all Nevadans.
Jill has also been a dedicated community servant for years. She founded the Bear Hugs for Hurts program, which provides stuffed animals to Las Vegas Metro Police for child victims of trauma. As the daughter, wife and mother of Air Force veterans, she actively supports many veterans causes, including Tunnel to Towers, Disabled American Veterans and a sponsorship of Wreaths Across America.
Unlike most candidates, Jill has spent the past six years actively participating in Nevada Legislature and Clark County School District Sessions, as citizen activist. What she witnessed deeply troubled her. Instead of a concern for the people, too many elected officials appeared out of touch with the daily struggles of Nevadans. She saw common sense, non partisan bills on education and public safety blocked by partisan politics, while failed policies were repeated session after session, wasting taxpayer dollars and ignoring real solutions.
Nevadans deserve better. They deserve a balanced government that works in their best interest. Jill Douglass is the fighter District 37 needs. She's a proven leader with common sense, real life experience, and the courage to put people over politics.
