MEET JILL
Jill Douglass is a dedicated conservative leader, successful businesswoman, and proud Nevadan running for the Nevada State Assembly in District 37. Born at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida and raised in the Florida Panhandle during the final years of the Vietnam War, Jill developed a deep appreciation for service, sacrifice, and community from an early age. As the daughter and wife of military veterans and the granddaughter of a chief of police, she was instilled with core values of integrity, patriotism, and putting people first. After testifying at the State Legislature for many years, she became concerned that the values and voices of Nevadans were being ignored.
After moving to Nevada more than 32 years ago, Jill built a thriving career in financial services. She started as a business owner and rose to Agency Vice President of a multi-state agency, where she honed her expertise in operations, relationship-building, and delivering results. A committed Christian and family woman—proud boy mom of four sons and “Glamma” to eight, she has also served as President to many organizations including the Nevada Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. She created a Bear Hugs for Hurts Program to provide LVMPD with stuffed animals allowing officers to provide the comfort of a bear hug to child victims of trauma and she created a sponsorship to support Wreaths Across America to honor our heroes at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery. She is a proud supporter of DAV and Tunnel to Towers.

Jill is a proven fighter for common-sense solutions: safer streets through tough-on-crime policies, school choice for every family, lower taxes and responsible government spending, sensible health care, attainable housing, support for veterans, seniors, law enforcement, and small businesses, and protecting the freedoms that make Nevada special. Having previously run for State Senate in 2024, she brings valuable experience, resilience, and a relentless commitment to restoring Nevadans’ voice in Carson City.
